Scammed

I've been scammed over the weekend to the tune of nearly £350 - £400 The guy rings from wanted ads, claims he has them at a reasonable price, gives a name and address and asks for half up front and then when the parts are delivered you pay the remainder. His contact details are 07837 489499 07583 25...

Re: Project V8

Jag IFS ill be tricky as the wishbones are really long meaning that your crossmember once narrowed will restrict room between the rails. I'm grafting a traveller body onto a TVR chassis and adding twin turbo's to a 3.9 with TVR heads to give it a bit of poke. That should be a handful. Keep us posted...

Re: banded wheels

Banding wheels is not illegal. There are several places on ebay that do them or Banded Wheel Service on RodsnSods will give you the lowdown on their use, legality etc etc.

If not, get your centres welded into other rim of the same diameter and custom offset (moggy centre into Jag rim perhaps?)

Re: Lexus Moggy!

Personally, I don't think it'll work. They are 260+ hp depending oin year and the front end won't be strong enough, nor will the rear. I hope that you are running a 4 bar with panhard rod and at least a volvo 240 axle? Strut front (modified capri) would be good or an IFS of another motor (jag, P100)...

Guys, Thanks for your input, all points have been noted, and the price that I have been quote is far from "prohibitive" and I use my heated screens all the time as I'm sure most other drivers do. It looks like the front screens are going to come out at approx £120 a pair which I thought wa...

heated split screen

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I've found a company that will make heated front screens for a split screen, the only trouble is there is a minimum order of 20 pairs. Would anyone be interested in committing to a pair to help make up the 20 pairs?...
