Tappet adjustment
I understand 'in theory' how to adjust the tappets, but would somebody be able to clarify the order of the valve numbers from front (by radiator) to rear of the engine, as the info I have would suggest they are not simply 1-8... :-? I think I understnad the 1 in 9 rule for adjustment, but could some...

Head Gasket - why should it keep blowing?
When I bought my 1967 traveller last year, the engine was replaced with a recon - which has taken me a good 12,000 miles so far without too much trouble... EXCEPT... the head gasket has just gone for the third time! I have taken it to a local garage on the first two occasions and they skimmed the he...

Old English White wheels - painting of...

Wiring loom
Hi, can anybody give me an idea roughly how much a new wiring loom would cost to fit in a 1967 traveller (labour / time only)?

Steering wheel size
Hi, is someone able to give me a measurement for the diameter of a typical two-spoke steering wheel (1967 traveller).
(Don't have one to measure at the moment!)
Thanx

Security - antitheft devices
I'd be grateful for some advice as to the best antitheft device I should buy for my Traveller? I'm not thinking of alarms or immobilisers (at this stage), rather a typical 'crook lock'. I understand the old wheel/clutch locks are easy to remove, as are the handbrake ones... so I've been looking at t...
