original paint colours

My old morris has reccently been in the wars, and as a consequence I am thinking of treating her to a respray, however the curent colour she has been smothered in is not an original Morris colour and is in fact a rather nasty shade of light blue. I have asked the MMOC to send me the ICI paint colour...

i think i will need to put in an alternator as my machine is likely to ned wipers, stereo, lights and heater all going at the same time in the cold winter climate we suffer up here in the north.

ohh is it that simple? trust me to think that it would be far more complicated.
however i do want to put a cd player in and a couple of fairly loud speakers as my car is noisey especially with the top down.

hummn......... confused I now am as to what to do? :-?

now the winter evenings are drawing in I fear that my glorious moggy will not be tootling around with the hood down...well at least i can get saving for next summer, and put any spare cash into werlding for the winter....groan, but such is life :roll:

Convertible Hood Flapping Frenzie!

Is there a wind proof method to folding the hood down so that it does not open up and balloon out dangerously when driving. Despite my efforts to fold the 'canopy' carefully and tuck it in to itself etc, ther are times when it flaps about. Is there a 'hood puch' or something similar I can get ... i ...

convertibles are such fun.... although if you do it, make sure you do it properly, the last thing you need is for the rust to get in on top of the door and body frame.
