new choke cable?

i need a new choke cable on looking on ebay there are a couple of used one's at £20 each or a brand new one for £7 odds plus delivery i'm just wondering if theres a difference in them as i dont want a new odd shaped one being different to the rest or am i best going to e.s.m or mmc in birmingham????...

no joy, still the same, could this be down to wiring possibly?
sorry meant to add been off road for two years, wiring looked ok, no lights, no noise from solonoid or pump absolutely nothing coming on.

just brought her out of storage and on fitting a newish battery i'm getting no power when i switch it on, i've checked battery and there is plenty of power there, fuses seem to be alright, any sugestions to help me out here?

all four wings are in really good condition it was really more the lights i hoped to change, i'm not to bad with a welder so i'm pretty sure i could fill in any holes, could someone plz send me a pic of the front and rear lights for my 1955 saloon 2dr so i make sure i get the correct ones when i ord...

just about to restore my 1955 spitscreen but the previous owner (my mums uncle) has put later lights on it front and rear i would really like to put the correct lights back on so does this mean replace the wings aswell as new lights due to other holes that may have been drilled, how can i tell if th...

yes you right i'm just getting a bit ahead of myself i think, i think i will be surprised of what i get, any tips for future refference on the rear end is there a better stronger type that you can recomend?

was thinkng about a bmw, unsure what one though it was a guy from work that planted it in my brain and got me thinking it would be different, but as you say about an american small block maybe that would be better and with less work involved

yes i would imagine that was the previous owner it was him who built it, the van did well at knockhill i can say, i only bought the shell from him he had the rover 4.6 injection i'll be running a rover 3.5 with carbs, never been into v8's so giving it a bash if its not up to scratch i'll be dropping...
