Glove box doors
Hello all, I'm in the final stages of finishing a friends 1958 Tourer and noticed that the glove box doors do not close right due to the miss matched receiver clips on the body side as well as the door itself. He wants me to use doors that have the chrome surround without the slotted opening at the ...

Crimpable bullet ends?
Hello,
Could someone tell me what they use to repair the wire ends of their harness when making repairs? Also, where can I find them?
Thank you.

Re: Harness Question
Thanks for all your input. bmcecosse, I'm not sure where the loom came from as it was recently bought from a supplier back east here in the states called "MiniCity" which sells Morris parts as well as Mini bits. Everything looked great until I stumbled into this glitch. I will try the hunt...

Harness Question
Hey everyone, I'm finishing off a friends 1957 Tourer (his bucket list) by installing a new harness and I stumbled into my first problem. The turn signal stalk wires are not the same as the harness wires. I hope someone can help because wiring is my biggest fear. Here's the breakdown. Turn signal wi...

Re: MM Water Pumps from Australia
Spike, Is there a way that a larger quantity can be arranged through the needs of owners in the UK and US for a better price break? I'm sure owners here (N.America) might add a few on that list if you or someone here can advertise it. As it stands the price for us would be $356.00 a copy. If you can...

Wow, you've done a lot of work! That's a beautiful Moggie you've got. I can tell you'll take good care of 'im. You and your Minor have all our best wishes from America. :D Keep adding the photos periodically -- they're helpful to a newbie like me! Yes, more encouraging words from a US Moggy fan! Ni...

Electric fence power unit springs to mind! If it's ok for a fence - surely ok for a car? I like that one the best!! That will keep the [Don't swear or you will be banned - Admin] ant creeps (sorry yank speak) away! Sorry, sorry, I will button my lip. It just burns me up when someone tries to steal ...

Some old timer told me once long ago the easiest way is to take out your rotor and put it in your pocket but don't loose it before you put it back in your dizzy.

Darn it, I wish we weren't 6k miles or so apart, parts wouldn't be so costly and hard to find for the both of us!jonathon wrote:But its twice the price of ours and requires more effort to make it stick onto curved surfaces![]()

Re: United States Car Club
I'd love to see a Morris Minor Club of America. If I could have a register of all the American owners of Minors (ie Morris Minor Registry...), then I'd contact as many as I could and try to rally a movement to make such a Club. Perhaps it could be a subsidiary or a correspondent of MMOC? Hmm. I sec...

Re: cost of bodywork repairs
whether the £800 would cover it before i go further and completely clean off the underneath. If you have a limited budget, chances are that specialist restorer's are not the way to go. Don't get me wrong - they are generally very good, and without them much of the Minor world would crumble. It's ju...
