Hey guys, Bit of an issue here! A few weeks ago I felt a slight jolt whilst driving the moggie and it's getting progressively worse. :( Whilst accelerating the engine seems to be cutting out, making the car rock and jolt, and occasionally when static it stalls. The odd thing is that it's intermitten...

The clever ole' chap's prognosis is that it's something wrong with the big end. Worn/rattling bearings? Can't see how lack of water in the rad could have caused this, unless it was just a coincidence and it's just general wear and tear..? Have contacted the mechanic, hoping to get him in sometime next weekend, and have yet to be able to do a compression test as the boyfriend took the plug socket.

Exactly, when the other two are removed there's no change. I've ordered 4 new plugs just in case, if that doesn't help then I suppose I'll be looking at the head gasket - have a new one sat in the boot anyway! When removing either of the two back caps whilst running, the engine cuts out completely.
