You can get false readings if the fuel tank sender unit has been fitted a quarter turn out - causing the float to catch on internal baffle.

Given that the lubrication nipple is on the nearside of the rack, would grease be able to travel to the offside to lubricate the inner ball joint
( inside the gaiter ) Think I shall be sticking to EP90.
Quite easy using a sqirty oil can under each gaiter and a new cable tie.

Nice to meet another YJJ owner. My 2 door saloon is 765G and its coming up for 40 years old on January 16th ( date of build ), so its off to the birthday card and cake shop . YJJ is a London reg.mark .Mine came from Stewart & Ardern. Good luck with it.

Strange Fan !!

My first posting, bear with me , new to all this but taking the plunge as I can help with this It's a DOWTY AUTOFAN, from the sixties. there were 2 types, one for Minis and one for Minors / A35s etc. I dont have first hand experience but remember seeing them in old car magazines of the period. CW
