Sorry no photos as still have old fashioned film, but all is original. Having taken back the underfelt it was quite thick, the seat is now much better and am happy enough to motor on without any mods. I appreciate all the help given, cheers everyone.

Thanks for replies.I agree with minor addict and I also have to take slouched position and not sit upright.Yes I am normal porportions and surprised nobody else of about 6'height is not comfortable if sitting correctly, as definately a small part of your top visibility is obscured. Thanks for the reply, I have checked the seats and they are original and quiet firm, especially since the car has only covered 20000 miles. The seating position is definately on the high side as I have to lower my sitting stance to get good visibility. Looks like more use may make the seat loose it'...

Series 2 front seats need lowered?

Can anyone help, I am just under 6 feet tall and my line of sight is obstructed by the top of the windscreen in my 2 door series 2. (1955 model).
