Removal of top swivel pin from shock absorber arm

Hi can any one tell me which is the best way to get the top swivel pin from shock absorber arm. I have tried heating it up and taping the circumference of the eye but I just can not get it to move.

Hope some one might be able to help me. A friend has been given a new brake m/c but it has been set up for use with disc brakes can he still use it on his car which is a 1968 four door Morris minor which just has normal brakes on it. As his m/c has gone u/s

Hi I hope that the wise people on here can help me. It might seen a silly thing to ask. First my car is an negative earth car and I have just put on an Lumenition Magnetronic ignition system MTK003 and it says for a negative earth car red wire goes to + on coil and black to - on coil. Than take away...

Fuel pump fault

I have sort out the other faults I had and then found that my fault pump was dead I got new points and fitted them to night but the pump is still dead . There is power going to the pump. Any one have any ideas

Little while ago I asked about help with the wiring when putting an alternater on my two door morris minor. Have not been able to do much have been ill. But I tried the car to night and I now find that I have no wipers and no oil light and no blower on the heater. The left hand fuse kept blowing but...

Have checked and rechecked and checked again I can find no place where air is getting in had carbs off and put them back on, have taken them apart and set them up like books says jet is in middle and still as soon as the engine starts it goes to full power, chock open or close still the same. Have fitted new return spring, new accelerator cable fitted and is moving free. Adjuster screws are clear of cam and stop and the throttle plates have been assembled correctly to the spindles. Just been and check the above.

Hi I am a new owner of an Morris minor two door and I am hoping to put an Alternator on it. What I want to know is do I have to keep the regulator box on the car or can I take it off. And if I can take it off which wires would go where. Sorry if this is a silly thing to ask.
