Re: Indicators Up Grade

I like the indicators fitted to Declans MG they are the one I have gone for, my concern is some motorists will not see the set up as it is and I don't want to be proved right. :(

Re: Indicators Up Grade

Thanks for the suggestions and I am going for motorbike indicator lights they look smart and they only need drilling holes in the bumpers not on the bodywork. Love the yellow moggy my moggy is in the common Dove Grey.

Indicators Up Grade

I have a 1962 model with the original indicator lights set up, I want to add amber indicators but keep the original set up is this possible or may be fit them on the rear as my main concern is that other motorist might not see the indicator as it is, but if I only fit them to the rear would it still...

Re: beware Car Buyers

I bought my moggy off ebay, and have had 2 years of enjoyable trouble free motoring. But then I bought local in fact 5 miles down the road and the good thing with ebay is it has a great selection of all models in all price ranges so it is always worth a look.

Re: Morris Minor with Maltese pick-up box

Hi Stuart,
Great pictures of your pick up. I have a flat in St Pauls Bay and see quite a few moggys when there. I'm back in Malta on Sunday for a week just looking forward to some warm weather :D after the cold miserable time we have had here  . Regards Steve

Re: And so the fun begins........

I got a local tyre company to supply and fit 5 Toyos which included balance, valve, cap and vat at £35 each. If I supplied the tyres I was quoted £12 a tyre which included balance and valve, which brought the tyre down to £23 a piece. So i would suggest try local first it could save you some money.

Re: Bromley Pageant Car Show June 2010

Its well worth a visit, its usually sponsored by Practical Classics so its advertised nationally so you have plenty of stalls dealing with spares and anything to do with motoring. The used car section is massive and the car show area is superb. I go every 2 or 3 years providing its good weather the ...

I wasn't saying it was because they were Toyos, but I am assuming 145x14 have less rubber on the road giving less resistance allowing her to pull up hills better than before.

I bought a secondhand Smiths temperature gauge last year for my 948cc minor, then realised I had to source a mini head as the head on my minor had no outlet to attach it to. But had the new head converted for unleaded petrol and the gauge works fine, so to me it was worth the expense... :D
