If you took a car in for an MOT with a sat nav stuck anywhere within the drivers field of vision it would fail, but that is irrelevant as they are removed and refitted after the test.

A friend of mine has one now Roy and he's asked me this..... On the Bottom of the intake manifold there seems to be a Valve, or some sort of check ball, which while starting with the Choke Leaks a considerable amount (about a Liter per Starting session ) of Gasoline down the engine and all over the ...

Thinking about this further, I'd just re-torque the head and keep my eye on it. The oil way is outside of the cylinder bores so it could go on for quite a while before you got any adverse effects to performance.

Is it head to block? If so, new gasket required.
If however, it is rocker cover to head, just clean and seal with a thin smear of liquid gasket assuming the cork seal hasn't been squashed flat by over tightening.
