It's the conical bit that attaches to the indicator stick, not the actual green bulb bit that snapped. I thought about glue, but didn't have any, that's why I used tape instead. Not sure that glue would work now if it worked fine for 2 days then went.

I did tape it up to begin with (my first repair!). It didn't come right off the stick, just cracked right through. It worked perfectly for a couple of days, but stopped 1/2 way to work this morning. I'm presuming that the wire worked its way loose or something.
