Just putting my 2 cents in. Have only had my Moggie for about a month (1950 lowlight) and bought it as my daily driver. Have had a few pangs of guilt that at its age it should be resting comfortably and taking the odd weekend outing instead of being used everyday to get me to and from work. BUT........

Just a quick update. Squeak is now gone (one of the back brake pads had been put on back to front). Had everything else checked over, oil, clutch, electricals, etc. Borris is a happy boy now.. has not even complained about his daily trip up the hill to get home, even with the temperature sitting on ...

Hahahah...I love it. I have two greyhounds, one of which loves to relocate things in the house..generally out on the back lawn. If something is missing ..ask the dog!

Ummm......am living in the driest state in the driest continent on earth....no...no snow...lol...although it has been seen here once or twice...perhaps an inch on the top of the hills....maybe lasting an hour or two :) We are currently going through our worst heat wave on record here...looks like ma...

Have had some pretty good feedback about this bloke....so will see what happens. Think my best bet is to join the local club and get advice from there. Maybe if I put on a deep voice and pretend to be a man I wont get ripped off...lol

Yeh, can be a bit slow. I do my best to avoid the steep hills during the rush. I can only manage second up some parts of old belair road. I reccon I can pull third all the way up the new road though. I can manage to get up Flagstaff Hill road in third gear as long as I get a good speed going before...
