No its definetly 850 on the side and the 803 gasket is round and small :D

The shape of the pump on the car is like a hedgehog shape and its bigger they are different sizes.

No the bolt does not appear to be snapped just thread stripped off the end I will find this out when I get the new bolt I wil be ordering a compelte new set of bolts do the lot at once. thanks for the replies :D , if this proves unsuccesful then I might change to a ford brake light switch, fitted onto the brake pedal behind the dash on a spring and this is adjustable , will mean altering the wiring though 8)

:D hi can anyone tell me how I can identify the size of an engine as I have just picked up a gold seal engine & gearbox and the previous owner is uncertain of the size .

I have took this set of numbers of the top of the head B(OR8)G ES 8435 it came out of a 58, but it is a recon.

many thanks here is where I have got to with this. spoke to newton commercial and in their on line cataloge shows a pull handle/arm rest on the series II 4 door They are not sure which models this occurs on but can recover the old ones as the man said these handles are very rare no replacements are ...

trying to remove the hinges from the doors Iam renovating someone suggested an impact driver anyone got suggestions what size bit would I need for an impact driver as they are large screwheads, someone else said use a blowlamp and heat them out any suggestions? :oops:
