Daft question?

Why am I down as 'minor friendly' whereas some are addicts, legends or maniacs? is it to do with the N° of posts? Or is it in our profiles? It surely can't be to do with MMOC membership N° or number of years we have owned and/or driven Minors. Just an idle thought whilst doing accounts on a wet Frid...

Isn't it about time that the organiser(s) of this event started a new thread stating when & where it is to be held?
Occasional users like me can get v confused by all the other stuff

People smile, and stop to chat with you in car parks.

However, I wish Brits abroad on holiday wouldn't be so rude, you can see them pointing and saying 'oh look there's a Morris Minor'. I was always told it was rude to point!

Possibly because there is a designated MOT website and messageboard:

http://www.minors-on-tour.org.uk/
which is several months out of date, and no-one posts there

Interlaken... I remember it well (not sure Mandy does, remember her hangover?!) nb for MOT and MOT UK organisers... we took around 100 cars and made more money for charity than any other MOT. Bits of the car I drove on that rally live on in my traveller today (RIP 2-door almond green saloon CGK 216H...

iPod questions

Hi I shall be in the UK shortly and I want to pick up reasonably-priced amp & speakers for an iPod set-up in a moggy. (Prices are so much cheaper than in France). Any recommendations - or products to avoid? I dont want top-of-the-range stuff, just a simple 2 speaker set-up. Also, ideas for an iP...

Having had TWO tyres knifed the other afternoon I can confirm that 155's are readily available in France (ordered late one afternoon from a local tyre place, fitted the next day) but 145s are impossible to come by via a standard dealer. Price 110 euros for the pair, fitted and balanced. Luckily wher...

Danish Oil is a polmerized linseed oil, I didn't know Bondex sold it - I have only seen their varnish (lasure in French) products. Rustins is the danish oil I have seen online

Danish oil on traveller woodwork

A member of the French Minor Club has acquired a traveller in vgc, the wood has been treated with danish oil. We've not used this product, so any tips would be welcome - in particular he asks if he can give the oiled wood a top coat of gloss varnish, or is it best to leave it oiled (& to re-oil ...
