Re: Morris Minor centre (bath) radius arms

No I don't have the dimensions, I ordered a radius arm from ESM compared it to what I had and it was much longer.

Re: Ford N9 reversing light switch

Ok, thanks for the info, looking at the Westfield website, a spade connector is used rather than a pin. Though it narrows the field so that i am looking at the older type reversing switch.

Re: Old English White

For info, there are several versions of Old English White. Your best bet is to leave a bit at a place that mixes up spray paint. This will give you the best match. Cream hammarite is also a close match, and have been using this in parts of the engine bay.

Morris Minor centre (bath) radius arms

Years ago, I have had radius arms fitted by the now defunct Morris Minor Centre (Bath). The ESM ones are a different size, so don't fit. So i am reconditioning what I have. Does anyone either have replacement bushes, or the complete arms. Its to fit the classic handling kit. The dimensions are 37mm ...

Ford N9 reversing light switch

Hi, years and years ago i had the ford 5 speed gearbox upgrade from the Birmingham Morris Minor centre in Birmingham. As i said this was a long time ago. At the time i made up a connector using some bullet connectors and some epoxy resin (milliput) it works but keeps dropping off (pot holed roads an...

Re: Morris minor ex police car siren

Hi, i meet up with some other classic car owners yesterday. A local came across to chat to us, he was a retired policeman and we chatted about some of the cars he drove for work. Surprisingly he was using a Morris 1000 traveller as a patrol car. I was only aware of the saloon Panda Cars. Though mayb...

thread size for the oil pressure sensor.

Hi, way back in the 1990's I fitted an electronic oil pressure gauge to my morris 1000, this replaced an mechanical oil gauge which I had fitted previously. I changed to a electronic version after the oil capillarity tube broke and coated the engine bay in oil. The sensor has been refitted following...

Re: Advice needed on how to decide on modified morris minors.

Ok, thanks for the advice. As ever it looks tobe the owners take on what a modified minor is and how well they know the cars history or what the standard spec is.

Will expect the usual amount of chop tops parking with the convertible's rather than in the modified row.

Advice needed on how to decide on modified morris minors.

Yes, its a bit of an old chestnut. I have been asked to find out how other branches deal with modified cars at branch rallies. We have a modified class that we use on the rally form. Some people class their cars as modified, others would part the same car with the standard morris minors. Say you hav...

The Flasher switch

:D For the last few months I have had a problem with the indicator lights. At first it looked like the interior repeater light was not working all the time. So I tried fitting a new bulb, still no joy. Next I fitted a replacement flasher unit, partial success. This was due to replacing the connector...

Yes that's the one, I have ordered a replacement from MM centre Bristol along with some other bits and bobs. They have just got back to me saying that they had the part in stock.

ALUMINIUM BULKHEAD CASTING FOR THROTTLE CABLE

I have been having intermittent problems with the repeater bulb for the indicator not working so was having a poke around the engine bay looking for poor connections and the like. And found the cause of an annoying rattle that I have had for some time. One of the lugs has snapped off the bulkhead ca...
