Re: Fan sensor etc
Hi gents. Les. Yes you are correct, it does have the plastic bolt in the centre, and I will indeed take it to our local fastening and fixtures company. Ta! Phil. Thank you. I have some 1/2 inch BSP plumbing bits somewhere, so will check on that. If it is BSP, it might be hard to find a sensor to fit...

Fan sensor etc
Hi guys. I have a 12G3535 Allegro thermostat housing which I would like to use on my Ital engine, and I would like to use the central threaded tapping to fix a sensor for the fan which I will shortly be getting. My questions are this: 1) Can anyone tell me what the actual thread in the centre of the...

Re: Additional crankcase breather
Yep, will do that then guys. The engine only has very few miles on it, so that should be no problem. Thank you both.

Re: Additional crankcase breather
Thanks to both of you. Must admit that I was intending to attach the normal front outlet to the carb as usual, and the second one to a small filter up under the bonnet, but I think you've just changed my mind. Is it ok to connect both breathers (via a tee piece) to the carb then? or would that be to...

Additional crankcase breather
Hi guys. I am considering adding additional crankcase breathing on my 1300 Ital engine via the blanking plate that covers the old mechanical fuel pump. I'm intending to drill the plate, weld a pipe on and then run a small hose up to a mini k & N type filter under the bonnet.. Has anybody got any...

Re: Alternative radiator?
Blownmm : Thanks Rob. Point taken. Phillthehill : Looking at your rad, it would appear that you have had the top hose outlet adapted to go straight out at 90 degrees from the rad? Did you get that done by a radiator company? If so who would you recomend. ALso, do you happen to know exactly which hos...

Alternative radiator?
Help! I am just about to install an Ital 1300 engine into my moggie, but want to upgrade the cooling system with a more modern radiator (with higher pressure cap) and Feed & Expansion tank etc. Has anyone done this please? and can you tell me what will fit? Can't find anything on this other than...

battery box
Thanks for the advice guys. My battery doesn't leak by the way. I just thought it would look really cool, to have a smart looking box to completely contain the battery, so that you only see the pos and neg leads coming out. Not looking to weld anything in. Stainless would look really good if it was ...

jonathon , Hi Jonathon. Could you please let me have details of the rad that you mentioned to bmcecosse. Are they suitable for my standard Ital 1300 engine. I really fancy the idea of fitting a more modern type rad with a higher presssure cap and a feed/expansion tank. Cheers Slugger. My e-mail add...
