Ok, this may be a simple one to you experts, but it has me stumped! As the lock on the rear door of my 67 traveller (Daisy) was a bit temperamental, I did the decent thing and bought a new one. Upon reassurance from the lovely bloke in Birmingham that it was just a case of taking off the screws, rem...

Do any of you know anything about fitting a new clutch that isn't in the haynes manual!
They make it sound a bit too easy, but I don't want to start taking Daisy apart only to find I can't do it after all!

After much deliberation and soul searching, I decided to put my feminine wiles to work and stood by Daisy, peering around her engine and looking a bit lost. Lo and behold I now have lots of helpful men all booked in to help me on saturday! It appears that chivalry is not dead after all........(now I...

The engine does get a bit oily which is why I am getting it steam cleaned, and I was hoping it was nothing more sinister than those things, as I would be a bit miffed if she suddenly ...

As I have a steam cleaner, would it be safe to do it myself! I thought that garages had a special machiney thing, but if you can do it with a hose, maybe it is possible to do it with my steamer! (it worked a charm getting the icky bits out of my oven so I suppose it could work!)
Wish me luck!!

I managed to fit my exhaust all by myself(after the old one fell off going over a speed bump!), and there was minimal rolling around in my road to achieve this, although I admit to the occasional rude word. The most difficult bit was the manifold clamp, as it is bloomin' fiddly, but I do recommend g...
