Does the club membership really exceed 12k?? Having spoken to a great number of people regarding the MMOC Nationals this year the only positive comments I have heard are along the lines of, 'we had a great time meeting old and new friends' Nothing actually positive about the many aspects of the show...

If only I was still a member......Decided not to renew because I was disgusted at the way I was treated whilst trying to bridge the gap between the club and Minor Monthly magazine, seems that some members of the commitee do not want to progress forward and try to promote the club, just happy to sit ...

Am I wrong in thinking that the MMOC National is run as a money making event? I heard that last years cost 12k to stage but brought in 20k from entrance fees and traders fees etc. Surely with those sort of figures more could be put on or even a subsidised or free entry to MMOC members, especially th...

But you are still paying to show your car, assuming you didnt want to visit the house and had gone purely for the show thats a lot of money to pay out. Many of these other shows previously mentioned may have other attractions linked to them which are also covered by the admission fee.

So in effect you were paying 12-15quid to exhibit your car so that non paying members of the public could look at them for free? And what did you get in return, a nice brass plaque, show guide, entertainment worth watching??

How much did the MMOC charge for admission to their show this year so that you could put your Minor in a field and wander round all day?

Fond Farewell

Some of you may already be aware but the July issue of Minor Monthly will be my last as Editor. I have decided to stand down for personal reason, and Russ Harvey will be taking over from the August issue. I would like to thank everyone who has given me their support over the last 18-months or so. I ...

Forgive me for speaking out against the OC on their own forum, but having been on here for a good while now it does seem that the lack of involvment from the majority of committee members within the club on this forum is a major issue. I realise that they are all busy people, but arn't we all yet we...

Hi Guys thanks for the positive comments and the heads up on the website, I have now brought this to the attention of my publisher (again!) so hopefully the site will be brought up to date asap. Sadly this is not an area that I have much control over but will try and get it sorted.

I can't help but agree with much of what Jonathon has just written, but I do hope that this discussion can lead to changes within the club. I will be putting something into the May issue, sadly April's has just gone to press but I would lke to include other peoples comments so rather than remove stu...

Happy to help where I can, but I can sympathise with Bill's comments about putting suggestions to the MMOC committee and getting little or no resonse which I find both rude and unfair on their paying members. This may be a rather cynical view but I have always thought that the club is run by people ...
