Starting engine after 2 years

For one reason or another my 67, 4 door saloon has be standing, unstarted for almost 2 years. Obviously the battery will need replacing. Is there a check-list of things I should do before I attempt to start it? The engine turns on the handle. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

on the road again

Hi

My saloon has been standing outside (covered by taurp' for x 2 years0 and I want to get her back on the road. Are there any do's and don't about starting a car, etc that has not been started for a long time? Would appreciate some guidance.

Thanks

Stevefinn
