well, i just sold my morrie. Apparently it created quite a stir.....not too many 2 door hard top convertibles around here in good nik.so i was told....received $1,136.00 AU for it.

Was perhaps one of the saddest days of my life to see it go..........

BUT IF IT WAS ASSEMBLED IN "56" BUT MADE IN "55" DOES THTA MAKE IT A 55 OR A 56 MODEL?

I was told by a friend that the year model is always on the regulator. so i checked that and it says 8 55 so im guessing that its definately a 55 model.

Oh and by the way. It does have the curved pieces at the end of the dash on both the left and the right.

Yes by jove. I am in Australia. Does that explain it? And for sure the stamp says FCF51 and all the other numbers i quoted were correct. And i had someone recently say to me that it appears to be a 56' model So for sure i am now really confused Can anyone help clarify what appears to be muddy waters?

sorry, i do know what a convertible is...........and yes my morrie does have a split screen.

but it is certainly not a convertible.

thats what i am wondering...........why does it have a C for convertible...when it isnt one???????

Hi, I have recently been given a Morris by my nan and i need to know the year model of it. Engine numbers etc are as follows. Type: FCF51 CAR NUMBER: 374114/53787 ENGINE NUMBER: F4/225644 and its original color is Champagne/Ivory if anyone is able to help me i would be extremely grateful thanks. Keela
