Hi,
I have to replace the engine plate number, the one on the engine. Looks like if it is kept in place with two nails (?).
So, before removing the old and damaged one I would like to know how I might procede and where to obtain two new "nails" to put the new one in place.
Thanks,
Luca

Thanks to you all for your reply! Some of your messages were a little too humorous for my poor english but understood that a body roller is something I have to think about very carefully. Plus, I was thinking to it even to work on my Rover P4 underbody but, at this point, do not think it would be th...

Hi,
I have just seen an interesting workshop tool on Frost Catalogue. It is called Body Roller. I would like to know if someone of you has used it for working on his Minor. Is it really so easy and safe to use??
Thanks,
Luca

engine number not shown
Hi, I have realized that until a certain year the plate inside the engine bay did show just the chassis number but not the engine one. There was just a writing saying "see engine". (At least this is what I have seen in some pics). So, can you tell me until what year the plate was not showi...

Distributor "rubber" cover
Ciao,
I just got a distributor for 948cc engine. It has, over the plastic cover, even a rubber cover. I tried to see in some pics and some catalogues of spares if it is original or not but did not find any pic with such a rubber cover.
Can someone of you tell me something about?
Many thanks,
Luca

Hi,
I would like to know if chassis number is shown just on the plate attached into the engine bay or if it is printed even somewhere else on the chassis.
thanks,
Luca

Numbers in engine bay
Hi,
in the engine bay, besides the identification plate with engine and chassis number, there are even two other little plates, on the right side with some numbers. What do they mean?
Does the engine number have a meaning, like the chassis one? If so, how does it have to be red??
Thanks,
Luca

Hi, here is a question for you, Minormaniacs. An english friend (he own a new Morgan and drinks a lot of beer so I do not know if what he says is true).. :D told me that in the early 60's some of the late 948 engines had problems. So the Morris did change themt without carging any money in the facto...

Hi to everyone, I just came home and found Chris' message about the Morris in Naples airport. Very very sad situation, I think. My first idea, after reading that the car was in Naples, was that it had been stolen. No, wrong! The first one was that the sad Morris was mine, so I went in the garage to ...
