Hi that really is a lot of work..i paid £150 for mine (1968 2-door) and thankfully the sil's and A posts had been done and it came with new steel wings front and rear, mind you i've been working on it for 12 months (on and off) and only yesterday did i manage to finish the front end welding, you can...

some of my friends want me to rod it. 8) ..but no i'm going to keep it original apart from the yellow spray job... i was going to chop the roof off at one point but have decided not too....too much like hard work and far too much expense involved....basically doing the minor as a they are cheap to r...

have managed to aquire quite a few parts needed, thanks to those who got in contact...have a bit more of an idea of the undertaking i have taken on..!!!...but feeling better now after having a drink.

thanks chaps i reckon i'm going to start with the " if it's bolted on take it off " approach. weld, spray and then service parts, bolt back on replacing with new/replacement or repaired parts as i need them. is this a good way forward..? is there anything that i shouldn't take off..?? Chee...
