Re: Numbers well down ?
I've just looked at the PM system and i have to say it seems fine. And the back function is working now as well, so that must have been my steam powered pc playing up again.

So far the last week or however long the new site has been up everytime I clicked on the bookmark I got sent to a page telling the site was not working. Maybe an email to members saying t...

I'm fitting jag XJS seats in mine. They measure 21.5 inches wide at the widest point and fit well. There is plenty of clearance to the handbrake. So i would suggest as long as the seats are no wider than these they should fit. Obviously if they have flat bottom runners tthis will make them easier to...

Well I've no money as usual, it sucks being off work for twelve weeks on sick pay. So, no money means no shotblasting, however I did find a tin of paint stripper in the garage. I love bubbles ;D http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1/dean36014/Morris/19112009528.jpg Stripped the roof and the rear doors...

1971 Austin Van
I bought this back in 2007 just before i went into hospital for back surgery. It was a don't look on the dark side, look on the bright side you'll be OK sort of thing. Something to look forward to after hopefully having a successful operation. I bought it as a pick up, and assumed that was what it w...

Good cars, I've had two, ran them for 10 years. Make sure the suspension works OK, check the vehicle lifts up and down on the height lever. A hard bouncy ride can be attributed to dodgy spheres, they can be changed with a strap wrench. If you hear a constant load ticking under the bonnet the accumum...

One rail cleaned up. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1/dean36014/Morris/DCP_0782.jpg It was alot more solid than i was expecting, although there will be a few repairs needed to the roof skin itself. At the moment I'm think of repairing it properly rather than a fibreglass roof. The cost differenc...

Van body roof removed, pictures.
Well after some advise from you all I decided to remove the van body roof today, something I've been putting off. As I can't actually afford a fibreglass roof ATM I wanted to get it of(the roof skin) undamaged as much as possible so I had the option of replacing the gutters and re-using the roof ski...

van roof questions
Its getting near the time when i'm ready to sort out the roof on my van body. The gutters aren't to bad, but need replacing in places, however some of the inside frame below the gutters, which the roof sits on needs repairing. I know i can get a fibreglass roof for £285, but would rather repair the ...

Got my mojo back, rear van body repairs
Well, after MOT'ing the two daily drivers, buying a Nissan 100nx,then welding it up, service and brake overhaul, mot'ing it, and then letting my daughter have it, I've finally got round to doing some more work on the Moggie today. I finally got the n/s rear door pillar welded in, and then started on...

Wing fit to front valance/bumper.
Got my front wings fitted now. The drivers side was easy, passenger side was mega hassle, due to the rear mounting flange being 15mm wider than the other side  . Some modifying with the welder and grinder sorted that out. Strange really as both wings came from the same supplier, from the same ...

Commercial chassis number
My chassis number on my '71 commercial begins
A/AVC/10V
Does this mean its an
Austin
A series engine
Van
Austin commercial.
If so, not bad as it was a pick up when i bought it with a Morris badge on the bonnet
What does the 10V stand for, or does it mean nothing.
Thanks in advance.
