Shouldn't the long arm be on the right so it fouls the door? Where it is still gives a modicum of steering ability. Just a thought.

There's a black one just below the one you've linked to and further down there are handbrake levers with that sleeve fitted so you can clearly see it doesn't foul the release button.

The bare metal handbrake in my 1970 Traveller is not too good for my slightly arthritic hands. Does anyone know of a leather sleeve that will fit over it to make it easier to grip but still allow the release button to work please? New, second hand, aftermarket?
