1970 Minor Van Fuel Tank?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has a spare fuel tank needing a new home?

Mine is leaking quite badly around the seam, and it looks like it has been repaired in the past.

I think I need to get it swapped out

Re: What to do with my car....

I am serious... Well, kind of. I would like to make the car as modern as possible, but I know there will be limit. But I would like to see just how far I can go... Especially while keeping it all hidden. My working life was that of a design engineer, and so I want to have a play around in my retirem...

Re: How to use a starting handle?

This made me laugh... I hope never to have to start my new car like this, but a Morris Minor? Lightweight 🤣 Many years ago, I was at work when the first snow of the winter came down. And as often happens, my car battery died at the onset of winter. No problem, I thought, and reached behind my seat, ...

What to do with my car....

So, it looks like I will be getting my car over the weekend. As you may have seen from my other posts, it is in good condition, but needs to be better. I have the plan of making this car a very usable in modern traffic, and also subtlety making it quite smart.... By training, trade and vocation, I a...

Re: New Car... Soon 🤞

Thank you for this information, and seeing the roof off was brilliant. I have never seen that before. I really didn't know what I was expecting under the roof. As I mentioned, this is a long term project, but I do need the van to be able to be used immediately. How far do I want to go? Well, as a sl...

New Car... Soon 🤞

So, I am looking for my Minor van, and I think I may have found what I am looking for. I want something I can use immediately, but also something that will keep me occupied in my retirement. I have found something that is, at first glance, perfect. The van in question looks OK, it is still in regula...

Dog cages

Hi all,

Hopefully I shall have a little Van very soon, but I do have a question. Is there anyone who can make a custom dog cage for a Minor Van?
If it is something that could look period correct (ish), that would be brilliant.

Re: Hi All, Newbie here 👋

Oh, I forgot to mention my dad and I rebuilt my sister's Beetle as well. I also had a series IIa SWB (once remember repairing the throttle linkage with a straightened large paperclip) A Series III LWV defender A Super Estelle II (always my favourite Skoda, I would love a rally spec one of those 😁). ...

Hi All, Newbie here 👋

Hi all, Just a quick introduction. I guess I could be considered to be a bit enthusiastic, I have joined the owner club, and this forum in anticipation of being a Morris Minor owner 🤣 So as a way of introduction, I am an electro mechanical design engineer/inventor, about to semi retire. I am trying ...
