southerly, thats a plan I like, Im thinking now that the beams could be beefed up as you said, this would make future engine lifts easier and materials bought would pay for themselves with time. How do you Get an Engine out without a crane...?

Hi I need to lift brendas engine out to repair her mounts as someone tried to tow her and has torn the plates under the engine mounts, i dont have a crane. what are my options? Im thinking about buyin a block and tackle, with it attached to a roof beam in my garage and liftting it clear of the mount...

Me too, Mine is full of rust dust, I think the paint is all thats holding mine together, every time I fix a bit anouther hole is found :(

I ground mine out, had the same problem with my front wings, all bolts turned except the top ones under windscreen. I struggled with heat, penatrating oil and every other trick in the book. You mentioned a local suplier of pannels, would this be NVWC in Norwich? as im looking for some pannels to go on my saloon this winter. It would be great to be able to buy them down the road. :)
