Re: MM (nuffield) rear axle

Yes the oil level is correct, it was replaced only 200 miles ago, I can rule the propshaft out as I now have the engine and gearbox out and the universal joints are perfect.

MM (nuffield) rear axle

I have a 4.55 MM rear axle on my early series two (1953) I fitted new wheel hub bearings but left the bearing and seal on the diff as that was quiet. However on my way back from the National Rally it started to make a noise like a noisy wheel bearing, even when I put it into neutral, I could not tel...

Seris11 bonnet

I have a very early series 11 convertible pre December 1953, I am trying to find out which bonnet badge and chrome embellishment should be on it, when I search for images of 1953 cars some have a badge with a point on it and a raised chrome part on the bonnet above it, some have a smaller badge and ...

Firdrake1942 "They were on some cars, up to and including Series III. BMT indicates 4 door and I have one on my Series III 1957 4 door. What the purpose of this tag was originally, is a bit of a mystery as the T / H designation is already on the right hand side of the body tag" This doesn...
