I have a 1962 948cc convertible, an original car. I have been given a spare door that a friend had on his 1952 MM convertible. I want to paint the door before fitting, is anyone able to confirm that it will be a straight replacement before I spray it and find it doesn't fit.

Thanks Stephen, I switched the car to negative earth about 30 yers ago to fit a radio and a clock.
