Thanks for the reply, due to ill health i am unable to establish what cable was used before,i will talk to the chap from the garage.

my Traveller came with a marina back axle conversion,the garage is fitting a new brake cable.
Does it need 2 cables like the standard Morris Traveller?

I have been reading all the correpondence on converting clap hands wipers to a 2 speed motor,is it worth it? my 1275cc traveller came with a stainless steel extractor manifold,how do i identify the carburettor, what should it be matched with if it is not the one identified.

thankyou for answering my query about window wiper switch,i know i can buy a kit with the motor and switch,but i wanted to keep the dash looking
somewhat original.

how would i wire up a side/headlight switch with relays to use it as a 2 speed window wiper switch.is it possible.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to use these M mini straps [or something similar] on my traveler rear doors but need to find something to secure the ends to the body work. Would appreciate any ideas. The reason is that we need to open up the rear doors a bit to accomodate loading a fold-up wheelcha...

Anyone know where to get the hardware to fit the individual vinyl check straps?

I checked and there was only 1 set of keys with previous owner. I was surprised he never felt uncomfortable with only 1 set. I found the blanks as suggested on EMS. Thanks everyone!
