Actually its usually Google or Yahoo etc bots scanning and indexing a that time of the day. I'm not sure that the counts are particluarly accurate anyway

According to the control panel, the only html tags allowed are:

<b><i>b,i,u,pre,object,param,embed</i></b>

I'm reluctant to change this without finding out why its set like this.

HTML is fairly heavily restricted - we've had a lot of problems with 'inappropriate' content, and it provides an easy way for hackers to get into the site. It could just be the amount of traffic on the web. If you can give me dates and times, I can check it out. It may just have been related to some of our other recent problems
