Re: ‘Cannot use search at this time’
It’s not always 4 seconds - sometimes it says 5 or 6. Sometimes it lets me in on the next try, but sometimes I get the message again a couple more times. It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m logged in or not. It’s not a massive problem…I just wondered.

‘Cannot use search at this time’
More often than not I get this message when I try to search the forums. Is it just me?

Can I take rear seat belts out?
My 1959 Traveller has front and rear seat belts fitted. The rear ones are a pain in the neck when putting the rear seat up and down. I rarely (once) have anyone travelling in the back anyway. If I remove the rear seat belts will it a problem for the MOT (which I do know isn’t legally required)?

Re: Using a magnet to stick sat nav holder to dashboard
@Bill_qaz I thought it was going to be a large suction cup but it’s a super sticky gel pad. The description says that it is ‘earthquake proof, not to hurt the phone’ so maybe I should have guessed

Re: Using a magnet to stick sat nav holder to dashboard
@Bill_qaz Hi Bill, it’s not actually a removable suction pad, but a very sticky permanent backing.

Re: Using a magnet to stick sat nav holder to dashboard
@geoberni Thank you! I’ve fixed the link. Yes - it was the car battery he was talking about. I see what mean about the magnetic sheet pulling down. I’ve never heard of the spider but am off to investigate…

Using a magnet to stick sat nav holder to dashboard
I have bought a small sat nav holder but don't want it permanently stuck to my windscreen. There is space to mount it on the dashboard between the speedo and glove box lid so I was thinking of using a magnet to hold it on. I have found some magnetic rubber sheet https://e-magnetsuk.com/product/magne...

Re: What colour should the fan be?
Thanks J! I’ll check in the manuals when I’m home next week. Ian took a red one off but assumed it should be yellow. T would obviously prefer a red one

What colour should the fan be?
Hi, does anyone know whether the fan should be red or yellow on a Dec 1959 Traveller? Thanks!

948cc engine rebuild - recommendations
Does anyone have any recent experience of having a 948cc engine rebuilt? Mine needs a rebuild but it's proving very difficult to find a reputable company to do it. Many seem to have gone out of business in Covid; others are just no longer interested in doing this work. I'm looking for recommendation...

@sevendin I’ve just had my Traveller converted to unleaded in the same circumstances as you. What is the fuel stabiliser you use and how much do you put in? Thank you.
