Re: ignition light
Thanks all for your comments. I will take another look at the wiring this weekend. I have just converted everything to Neg earth so will double check my purchase also.

ignition light
Hi,
I have recently replaced my points and condenser with the electronic conversion kit. All seemed very simple and car running nicely. The odd thing though is that my ignition light stays on when ignition is turned off. It is off when running. Is this normal with these conversions.
Regards, Gazsen.

tyre pressures
Hi, The handbook for my Moggie 1000 states that the tyre pressure should be 26psi , I think, from memory. Was this due to the original tyres only being suitable for that pressure or was it suspension related? Am thinking harder tyre, more shocks to the suspension. My current tyres are very new [ bou...

-VE EARTH/FUEL PUMP
Hi,
I have a `69 1098 Moggie which I am planning to change to -ve earth and change my solenoid to and alternator. Will I have to look at changing anything else, such as the fuel pump? I have a non original fuel pump.
Regards, Gary

Thanks for your advice.
Was wondering if the seal on the crankshaft was replaceable relatively easily?

Re: Oil from breather pipe
Hi, To answer your points: 1. Removed and cleaned. Didn`t seem very dirty and no signs of rust so replaced as is. 2. Didn`t realise this was the PCV valve. Handbook says emission valve. Anyway, took this apart and cleaned everything. Diaphragm is flexible rubber with small hole in. Waiting for stock...

Re: Oil from breather pipe
Hi, I have recently purchased a 1969 minor saloon and am experiencing oil leak from rear crankcase seal. I have been cleaning/ replacing breathing items to improve this but nothing is working. Have read about the PCV valve and would like to try this next but unsure where I need to fit it. I have 109...
