Large patch of rust on rear bumper

My 1962 Morris 1000 (Maude) has a patch on the rear bumper, roughly 4 inches in diameter, where the chrome has been completely lost to rust. Short of taking the bumper off for a bit of re-chroming, which I don't want to do, are there any suggestions, like rubbing down and painting over, which you ni...

Re: Trafficators

Unfortunately, most motorists wouldn't have a clue what trafficators are, and they are probably not very visible to cars following you. I would never use trafficators without also employing hand-signals, which begs the question as to how visible a left turn hand signal would be, assuming you have a ...

Although I'm not strictly a newbie and have a few posts to my name, I have never introduced myself. I am one of the older members here, I live in Reydon near Southwold, Suffolk with my three Choc Labs. Re: Old English White

My 1962 2-door is officially Dove Grey, but it appears there are two shades of that colour, and the Dove Grey in the colour swatch sheet shows a much darker shade than mine. How do I ensure I get the right colour when I buy touch-up paint?

Re: Naming your Minor

I'd never thought about naming any car until I purchased my 1962 2 door Morrie, and the seller told me his wife called it Maude. So Maude it is; and all being well, a nice man will be picking her up in a week or two to make her fully roadworthy.

paint colour

Hi everyone, I'm a new member , and I thought I would introduce myself. I live close to the Suffolk coast, and I've just taken delivery of a 1962 1000 saloon. It's a project, not for me, as I'm far too old and can just about change a wheel. The bodywork is virtually rust free, though I wish I could ...
