When I was first building the M8 special I tried without success to acquire a Wolseley 8 engine.......not sure how well it would have responded to a bit of 'tweaking for speed' but it certainly would have been a h*ll of a lot cheaper than the Alta job

Hi Tony, Bit of a long shot but did you sell the alta head? been trying to find one for a long time with no luck, if you got it sold do you think whoever bought it would consider selling again? hope you don't mind me asking,
