Thanks for the advice, I wondered if it might be shoe size or the drums had been skimmed! I’ll try a bit of weld & see how it goes!!! John

Thanks for the reply, further info: Complete rebuild completed last year, brakes have been fine, good/full pedal, 2 weeks ago partway through a run pedal travel suddenly increased dramatically, once home I checked adjustment & found the rear O/S adjustment to be fully off (lowest point on cam) &...

MM Brake issues
My 1949 MM, has recently been having brake issues, pedal is very long, adjustment on the rear is at its maximum, albeit that the brake shoes are new, any ideas please?

Could anyone help please, I have a new parcel shelf (as part of Newton kit) my car did not have one fitted! I have seen several posts on the subject but I’m after a bit more information, there is just one cutaway for the throttle I think? Do you have to cut a slot for the column or does it fit above...

Does anyone out there have a sacking/sailmakers needle, they are about 7” long with a curved end?
I’m rebuilding a pair of MM seats & the cushion covers are sown on!!

Thanks fo all the info! However the waist seal I was referring to is the glass seal, the is an inside seal but no outside seal or provision for one,

MM Lowlight outer waist seal
Has anyone fitted an outer waist seal on a 2door MM? If so would you share how you made a flange to attach the seal to the door panel as there is no flange to speak of on our doors?
