Re: Rear spring identification

Hi, thanks. I looked at their spring and it doesnt have the same spring clamps on the leaves so assumed it didn't come from them. It is unlikley that I can find another of the one I have but worth a shot. In theory their spring should be the same but if it isnt i could end up with a lop sided car!

Rear spring identification

Hi a new rear spring (just one) came with my car and Id like to get another so I am wondering if anyone knows where the one I have may have come from? It has code DMOR 2480 stencilled on it. Thanks Colin

Fasteners for the boot boards

Hi, I have looked in the threads chart but I can't find anything on the fasteners for the boot board on a 1970 4 door. Everything was missing from my car. Clearly small fasteners, not self tapping because of the holes. Anybody know what they look like? - thanks - Colin

Re: Basic information please

Hi, no it was never recovered. It was a blue 2 door reg MEG 759 with a sprite engine. After a suitable period I reclaimed the registration and, by sheer coincidence, gave it to my daughter Meghan. Cheers Colin

Re: Basic information please

Hi thanks that’s a useful tip. I was concerned how to change a wheel if I got a puncture. Cheers Colin

Basic information please

Hi, just purchased 'Norman' a 4 door 1970 after my first Minor was stolen in 1980! My assumption is that the fasteners/bolts etc are UNF/UNC and I need A/F spanners? I could also do with a picture/description of an original jack as I have seen at least 2 types on offer and there isn't one in the car...
