Just an update.
Adjusted the throttle stop screw as reccomended by Mike. Took for her a quick spin and she seems to be fine with no issues whatsoever. I'll give her another drive next week but hopefully the issue is resolved.

I'll take some pictures of the condenser and rotor arm tomorrow... if I do it now with Storm Arwen... I may get blown away !
Haven't been able to get a hold of the garage because of the storm (located right next too the sea front) but will keep you posted!

Forgot too add that those parts as far as I'm aware (from them not being charged on my parts list) they weren't changed!

My thoughts exactly? He could well be as it was something to do with the spark plugs going black...

So a little update! Sarah was still not starting so rung RAC again. The same guy came out and told me that the spark plugs were black and said that it was either me pulling the choke out too much (which I'm putting as the verdict because someone might be guilty of that.. :-? ) causing her too flood ...

You are correct but that is really valuable advice!
I will try and play around with what works for her seeing what will work! At least I know it's probably not full choke!

Just an update... unfortunately using G3 did little to remove the marks from the paintwork after several attempts...
I'm not going to fork out for a respray just yet as hopefully others will agree that it adds character to her!
But if anyone has other solutions they will be greatly appreciated!
