Hi Tezza Don't let out of line doors put you off. It could be many things causing it such as miss matched doors poor repairs possible back out of line or poorly installed. This door is a bespoke door made by Woodies of West Sussex for Charles Ware in approximately 2010. The 'glass' is plastic as it would be too heavy with real glass. Hi all
Thanks for the replies I do get lots of smiles to the mile but do some longish journeys and would like to make them a bit more economical. The brakes gave recently been changed and are not bidding, dhebis also our only car and does get used regularly

All the plugs are clean and correctly gapped
She has a alternator conversion with limited demand all lighting apart from headlights is LED, most journeys a minimum of 30 miles

There is two ways you could go, a friend of mine has cut a infill panel, welded it in place ground down the welds and smoothed over ( sorry no pics as yet) or whatbi fid was make a infill plate set some m4 machine screws which then had penny washers fitted behind the cover which meant it be returned...

Possibly the same problem that I had with Meggie especially as you are running a similar set up. Have you checked to see if you are running rich? This was mynproblem and a replacement flat and needle valve from SU cured this.

If it is the float letting too much petrol through would I be correct in assuming that the excess fuel is being pushed out of the overflow and this is what the strong smell of petrol is coming from?
