This door is a bespoke door made by Woodies of West Sussex for Charles Ware in approximately 2010. The 'glass' is plastic as it would be too heavy with real glass. All the plugs are clean and correctly gapped
She has a alternator conversion with limited demand all lighting apart from headlights is LED, most journeys a minimum of 30 miles

Possibly the same problem that I had with Meggie especially as you are running a similar set up. Have you checked to see if you are running rich? This was mynproblem and a replacement flat and needle valve from SU cured this.

If it is the float letting too much petrol through would I be correct in assuming that the excess fuel is being pushed out of the overflow and this is what the strong smell of petrol is coming from?
