The problem is solved

Don t laugh but my voltage meter is going crazy
This morning it said that the battery was 16,7 volt

I took another one and that one said 12,6 V
after starting with 1500 rpm it said 14,6 V so I am a happy moggie driver again.

I bought a headlight reminder and will install it in the car

I also drive a 2cv and the lights of that car go off when I turn the ignition of
therefor I forget the lights of the Morris

I will make the connection on the door switch as told above

Light question

Hi all
Little question

i often forget to turn of my lights
Can i connect the wire that cones from the fusebox to the positive side of the coil
So that when i turn off the key the lights go out as well
Or is there an other solution

Great thanks for your help I just installed the new contact points (had to wait on the mailman) And the car runs Small disappointment , now my starter motor is dead I ordered a new one so tomorrow a new task So if I understand it correct there is no connection between 3.4 and nut number one Correct....

As I look at movie clip part 2 you connect a lamp at both sides of the coil at my coil both sides are + so the light doesn't t go on....
