Thanks for your replies. I fitted the 25D4 which I purchased from Accuspark with electronic ignition already fitted for £69.95 so well pleased and it's running fine.

We have recently acquired a 1962 Transitional and am having problems in sourcing a replacement distributor. I believe the one fitted to be a Lucas DM2P4 which doesn't seem to be available from the regular suppliers. Would either a 24D4 or the 45D4 be a replacement as these seem to be available. Than...
