Re: morris minor london to brighton run
I'd certainly go along with the opinion that our esteemed councils, are quick to make a buck or two. Have a look at a website called WhatDoTheyKnow.com. You can view Freedom of information requests submitted to councils and other bodies. Many are very revealing. The Chief Executive Officer of my own...

Re: Spitfire Fuel-Catalyst
I purchased a few of these wonder balls 20 odd years ago for my ford popular. They came in a little wire mesh bag, so you could drop them into the fuel tank. Looking back now, I think they were a waste of time and money. They didn't appear to make the car run easier, nor aid start up from hot/ cold....

Re: Engine noise when decelerating
Hello, Recently the engine always makes noise when decelerating and stopping or when the engine starts but does not start. That could be the thick bearing sound. Does anyone know what the cause is? Thank! Hi, if you've a utube account perhaps you could make a short film. Hopefully that'll help an i...

What tyres!!
At the moment my Traveller is running on Toyo; 155R 14 tubeless tyres.
A friend has advised me that Camac radials; BN 313 145 R14 are good tyres, but I'm wondering if anyone has them fitted to their cars, and how they perform.
Any thoughts or opinions gratefully received.
Thanks.

Re: Canβt get grease in
If the threads of the swivel are found to have no flat on the top of the thread the thread is worn out and the swivel should be replaced. The thread is 75% Whitworth profile. Many of the later bottom trunnions do not have the baffle between the trunnion bushes, this allows the grease to exit the tr...

Re: New Messageboard is now live
I'd like to offer my thanks for all the work setting up this new board. I do understand that there maybe the odd teething trouble , but I'm sure any problems will be sorted out. As for colour and font size, I'm happy with those. All I want is a workable board that doesn't crash, i have found that ve...

Re: Unable to add name to send private message
Oldmogman, I've also sent you a message.
I did forget to add a title to my message, so it was initially rejected.
Tried again, and it's been sent. Hopefully you've received.
Cheers Jonnie.
