Do things happen in three's
2 door saloon that has done 1500 miles since nut and bolt rebuild. Driving home after attending classic car event at a steady 60mph on the A14 it was if I had turned the ignition off, had enough speed to get to a layby and soon found no spark from King lead. Blaming the electronic ignition changed t...

Re: Front inner wing / Dome panel
I have replaced both front inner wing dome panels and you are right in that the fit is awful. I started with the near side and decided that the only bit which was correct was the 2 inch hole that is on the right angle strengthing panel onto the front bulkhead so I made up a jig to line up and clamp ...

I have Tiger seal which I intend to seal the front wings however I have not used it and being a slow worker wou...

Re: Which Part Am I Looking For?
Having just purchased and fitted REPO56A it is complete and no need for any extra panel, if you view part REPO57A you will see an image for the left hand side. I indeed bought the wing flange repair from ESM before going for the extended version.

Re: Which Part Am I Looking For?
Looking at the amount of rust it might be better to pay the extra £11 and obtain an extended wing mount flange from Morris Minor Centre Birmingham part REPO56A but watch out for the leaded joint just over half way round the wheel arch.

Re: Breather Oil Trap
My A+ 1275 (upgrade) engine was fitted by a Morris Minor specialist when I purchased the Morris and the breather system was I thought crude and it found to contain no gauze. When I rebuilt the engine myself after it seized I replaced the timing chain cover so no outlet and just used the fuel pump ou...
