Definatly F.O.S went to the main Le Mans a few years ago,a bit disappionted ,my one lasting memory is of a little man at the end of the track underpass stood on his little dias waving his arms and blowing whistle and all the traffic totaly ignoring him.

Thanks for all info,the Alternator came from a friend it was one originally from ESM.It is all fitted and wired now thank you.I am thinking of fitting Ammeter .I need a wiring diagram.

Its true I spent all my life in motor trade as a mechanic, never got involved with electrics left to those who know.
You cant see electricity so you cant see where it is!!! Give me an engine/g/box rear axle and I will repair it but nothing electrical.

I REPLACED MY STUDS WHEN I DONE VALVES (200MILES AGO) THE CENTRE SHORT ONE HAS SNAPPED THEY WERE ALL TIGHTENED TO CORRECT TORQUE

If the servo is working when you started engine with foot on brakes it should have gone down a fraction.

Hole or no hole in the Cap will make no difference to the oil pressure,you either have a release valve problem or the oil pump is getting tired

TRY AND FIND SOME MINTEX SHOES
