Re: Master cylinder removal

Mr Haynes gets it wrong more times than is forgiveable! - which is a bit naughty to say the least, the publication is supposed to help - not hinder! Perhaps they need a proof reader with a bit of mechanical savvy - rather than just reiterating workshop data that was already incorrect! Moan, moan, m...

Re: 1957 2 Door Morris Minor

Nice Car, Sage Green by the look of it, so not that common a colour too! :D My first 1958 (MBW899) was that colour originally.... but I was young and the body tatty so it went through a few changes... dark green on the wings and sills as a pretty contrast and because the wings and sills were new an...

If not then it would be a nice extra touch - most other forums do that. I looked at this, and the poster concerned was last active on the forum about 15 minutes afte...

Rear floor pans

Basically a h...

More brake 'issues'

Both of my cars currently have the same issue. Brakes work fine AFTER you have pumped them a couple of times. They are not driven regularly (alas) and when I get in them the brakes flop uselessly to the floor when I press the pedal. Do this a couple of times and normal expected service is resumed. T...

Re: Brake fluid leak

I have the same sort of issue, car stood all winter, no brakes, no fluid in the master cylinder... no sign of any leak, nothing on the garage floor... I will have a look in the chassis but previous experience suggests it gets out of there onto the floor if the leak is around the master cylinder... s...
