Re: Garages

Re: Make do and mend...........

Nicely done.
Anything you could add to the araldite to colour it without stopping it going off? I tried this sort of repair on a steering wheel crack with a bit of black boot polish. Anything more than a small amount would stop it going off.

Re: Nuisance call blocking

I think all the technology is in the phone itself, just needing caller id to work fully. Have a look on the talktalk forum, there are a couple of posts saying it works.

Re: Fitment of aftermarket panels, really frustrating!!

Well it's like this, someone wheeled in a ford Anglia and told them it was a Morris. So somewhere there is a restoration just about to start on an Anglia......... That's surprising how far out they are. What on earth (or maybe not) is the starting point from which these panels are made. :o

Yeh, I get picked up on there too. :( Thought I had gone unnoticed the first time but it was just a delay in updating my account. Just a bit slower than the crossing is after lunchtime.

Re: Oil leak from timing chain cover.

That's a bit of pipework going on there. :)
Are they socket cap screws fixing the timing chain cover and did you use them for any particular reason?
Thanks

Re: Engine delivery

Thanks guys. It needs to go from Lanarkshire to Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex or thereabouts. I've posted on the morris minor owners forum and have a kind offer to get it to Pateley Bridge at their meet, which is getting closer.
I'll happily reimburse or redistribute courier fees accordingly. :)

Engine delivery

Does anyone have any recommendations for a courier firm that can collect an engine from another address and deliver to my address. I've looked at a few online and there seems to be various restrictions. Some want it palleted and stackable ready to go, others won't touch engines because of oil leaks ...
