lol ... have found a very nice old illuminated pull switch which will look right in my Traveller, so hopefully the light will catch my eye so that I'll remember to push it back in! :-?

I think I'll go for running the wire from the green wire feed from the fuse box and fitting an illuminated switch on the dash as suggested. Seems easiest and neatest option. Thankyou all.

Is there a way of wiring it up without going straight to the battery? Would look a lot tidier

Reversing light

I've just bought a very nice old "Wipac" reverse lamp to fit on the back of my Traveller and am unsure where to wire it up in relation to which wires go where to the coil. Via a switch on the dash is no problem, but where in the engine bay? Advise would be appreciated. :-?

Better Sweep of the Wipers!

I recently had problems with the wipers on my Moggie with reference to the position of the Park which was soon sorted with help from members. The sweep of the wipers was quite poor and as I've only recently bought the car, that part of its history was unknown. On removing the top cover of the wiper ...

Have only just got back into Minors after a few years without one. This Minor has had a few bits bodged and I've sorted them all now, the wipers being the last. The lethal mix of 1 crossply and 1 radial on the front was also sorted yesterday with a good set of 4 new radials. Feels a lot better on th...

Wipers Parking in the wrong place!

Help please - I recently bought a 1968 1098cc Minor and have problems with the wipers, ie they automatically park pointing up rather than resting at the base of the windscreen. Even changing the wiper motor for a known correct version for the engine size and year hasn't made any difference. :-? Any ...
