Re: mild road rage

A few times when I gave way to oncoming traffic i have had a car behind me drive around me and then almost have a head on collision. This also happened with a police car that was behind me, he also thought it was a good idea to drive around me but found cars were coming through so embarrasing for hi...

Re: Pins in tyres

When i say cctv I mean in the house pointing out the window towards the car.
I was thinking of spray in sealant or slime as its only a pin hole it may seal ok
or put inner tube in it with slime. I want to save the tire as its got good tread.

Re: Pins in tyres

Thanks for the replies. As the pins are in the sidewalls they cant be repaired but was thinking of fitting innertubes as its going to be cheaper . I had an inner tube in the last tire they attacked but this one is without one. I was told its illegal to fit a tube in a tubeless tire but my other tire...

Pins in tyres

Sorry about the rant but need to get this off my chest. I park my car in the road and use it most days to take me elderly parents to the hospital. In the past two weeks I have woken up and found pins like drawing pins but with tips on the end in the sidewall of my tyres. This is starting to get me d...

Replacing rear suspension bushes

I'm thinking of having a go at replacing the rubber bushes on the leaf springs. I have never done this before and wondered where to jack up the rear of the car from? Also how difficult are they to change?
The rubber bushes on mine have perished so need to be replaced.

Re: fuel tank blockage

Yes the pipe almost touches the bottom of the tank and the strainer is wrapped around it.
I had a rusty tank and had to cut off the strainer which revealed the pipe.
I relined my petrol tank with POR15 tank sealer after cleaning it out.

Re: Is it just me or does it happen to you?

I was out in the Morris again today and driving in a 20 mph zone with speed bumps when all of a sudden a moped rider over took me on the inside. He nearly had to ride up the pavement, I was lucky I saw him coming and I moved out to the centre of the road. WHY over take me on the inside, It would of ...

Is it just me or does it happen to you?

I use my Morris almost every day and the past few weeks I have been tailgated, had cars pull out of side turnings right on top of me and overtaking me in 20 mph zones over speed bumps. The other day I gave way to on coming traffic when a car tried to drive around me and blocked the road up. I never ...

The importance of having a disklok even inside a garage, put the steering on full lock and put on the disklok.

I hope they catch the low life and string him up by his nuts. Fingers crossed it turns up somewhere.

Re: S U fuel pump clicking?

Thanks for the replies.
I took my 78 year young father out in it the other day and he said he didn't think it should click like that. But the last time he drove a morris van was about 50 years ago
And he couldn't remember it.
I will let him know. Maybe it was his pacemaker clicking LOL.

S U fuel pump clicking?

I'm relatively new to Morris ownership but was wondering if my fuel pump is clicking too often. When i'm driving along at around 30mph in top gear it seems to click every second or so like a clock is that normal or is it clicking too often? If I pull away from stationary it will click really fast th...

Tech 7 alarm

I would recommend this alarm as its easy to fit with just 2 wires going to the battery. It has current sensing which works well. When I open the door the interior light sets it off. Also motion sensing. And also has a flashing led. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tech-7-12v-Motorcycle-Scooter-ATV-Remote-...
