What wheels did you use to make the roller?

Where should I jack-up the car to weld in the outer sill? If I start on the car before I do anything with the roller.

What should I look for in a Welder A friend and myself are going to buy one between us.

I will wait until I have the panels before I cut anything so I can be sure. I probably will by a small drill that has a wire brush and cutting disk attachments. Anything I should watch for?

Do you think that it is better to replace just the front half of the outer sill or is it better to do the whole lot.

Should I wait until I have the panels (3 weeks) and the welding stuff to start removing the outer sill?

Hello, Wife won't let me buy the roller. I have to get the car back on the road as cheaply as possible. Appart from the cross member. Is it possible to do all of the other panels with the car as high as possible on alex stands. The inner wing and hinge panel, can be done with the car upright? Thanks...

Hello,
I have found the iceberg. The bottom of the front wheel arch, the front inner wing and the hinge piller, have all rusted and have been filled over.

But I need to look on the brightside. The Boxing panel and the inner sill are fine.

Hope that I don't find ant more rust.

I have got the "Restoration Manual". I will read it over the next few days. I'll post questions on anything that not clear. I'll get the parts over next few weeks. I'll be doing the preparation until Christmas and after the welding.

I am just buying a 1968 Moggy. It failed it's Control Technic (Luxembourg MOT) on 2 issues. One is RHS sill and the other the fuel tank. I can clean and check the fuel tank, but sill work. Where do I begin and how hard is it to do?
