By the garage (changing a car battery is about my mechanical limit!) - I will be giving them a summary of everyones tips on Tuesday which I am hoping will result in a healthier car.

I think the car has adequate fuel - it revs very well when stationary but will have this checked out just incase.

Re: Binding brakes - the car is easy to push and car does freewheel ok in neutral.

My friendly mechanic told me that my 1960 2 door saloon was odd because it has a large rear window and trafficators. Does anyone know if he is right and if so how many were made like this?
